Customization & Flexibility

The ability to modify every visual aspect of a chart provides unmatched flexibility in presenting data on charts because you can:
Customize the overall appearance of charts, selecting the color and width of every chart component.
Increase or decrease bar spacing, zoom in and zoom out on a chart, reserve empty space to the right and upper/lower margins.
Compress the chart as much as you want and place all the data within one screen, even if you have a million bars.
Choose the background color and grid line color.
Select between various styles of the dynamic grid: point grid, solid grid, horizontal grid, dotted grid and detailed dotted grid.
Display the vertical axes on both sides, i.e. with a scale for an indicator on the right and another for price data on the left, or hide the axes completely.
Scale the axes in linear or semi-log units. This is especially useful for drastic price movements (the price axis area adjusts to the price labels automatically).
Choose the font and style of the axes labels that suits you best.
Display or hide session breaks as lines in the style and color of your choice.
Change the visual order of the indicators and price.

Interactivity
The MultiCharts interface is object-oriented. This means that all movable charting items can be dragged-&-dropped and the axes are mouse-controlled.
Because all price charts, indicators, scales, and drawing tools are interactive, it makes the program's behavior fully controllable by the user.
When clicking on the needed object you will always see only relevant options, so setting the parameters of the objects and their maneuverability becomes easy and efficient.
Extensive Range of Chart Types & Intervals
MultiCharts offers you an extensive range of conventional chart types: candlesticks, bars, lines, dots, histograms, invisible bars, etc. In addition, the Volume Profile chart reveals information that is not obvious from standard volume data.
Our charts support time-based (second, minute, hour, day, week, month, quarter, year) and count-based compressions (tick, the number of trades, the number of contracts traded, price movement in points). MultiCharts lets you easily plot charts for any custom compression, for instance, 3 seconds, 20 ticks, 1000 contracts or 10 points.
Mixing time and count-based chart helps you visualize the true dynamic of the market, as count-based charts will plot more bars per time interval in a fast market and less bars per time interval in a slow market.

Symbol & Interval Linking
Symbol/Interval Linking saves you considerable time and makes working with charts more convenient. Thanks to this feature you can link a number of charts in one or several groups according to symbol name and/or resolution.
Each group is then marked by one of 14 accessible colors. If a symbol or resolution is changed on one chart, all the rest of the charts linked in this color group will be changed automatically.
Another unique feature of MultiCharts is that it is possible to link not only separate windows, but also subcharts inside one window.
It is important to note that you can link symbols and intervals separately, so you are in complete control of what your charts display. This is just one more way in which MultiCharts gives you the edge.

Load State Gauge
Load state gauge allows each trader to be sure that the data displayed on a chart is the most recent. Using this load gauge you will always be sure that all data is being processed in a timely manner and displayed on the screen.
If the program fails to load data, the gauge will become red and show the number of quotes in queue as well as the time lag in seconds. This is priceless tool in fast markets.

Built-in Volume Profile Histogram
MultiCharts offers a built-in volume profile histogram that displays the volume for a security at each price it traded throughout the day. Most notable is the price at which the most volume has traded--this is called the "volume weighted average price".
